Always
have your car prepared before leaving
for the racetrack. The best way to
make sure you have not left anything
out is to follow a checklist:

• 1.
Install wheels with proper offsets.
• 2. Set the tire pressures.
• 3. Check tire stagger.
• 4. Check fluid levels (
Scale the car with driver’s
weight and with a full fuel cell).
• 5. Unbolt shocks.
• 6. Set the ride height at
each corner.
• 7. Set camber.
• 8. Set caster.
• 9. Set the toe-out.
• 10. Set pinion angle.
• 11. Add weight if needed.
• 12. Reset the ride height
at each corner.
•13. Reset front-end alignment.
•14. Check Wheel Weights if
possible. Keep Ride Height + or
- 1/4 inch .
•15. Install shocks.
•16. Log all of your numbers
on the chassis & Weight Data
sheet.
Before
loading the car onto the trailer, make
one final check of the following items.
Doing so religiously, will prevent extra
work at the track.
